BLL Summer Teams

This season usually kicks off in the last week of June and runs until about the first week of August.

8 YO League
Age 8 summer is first real intro to competive travel baseball In the past we've had 2 teams with even talent split between them. Not an "A" and "B" team Will play in a league with other towns in the surrounding areas, travel is required. Will play anywhere from 8-10 games plus a tournament

9 YO League
Tryouts will determine "American" and "National" teams for the summer. These teams will be competitively different A and B teams, and will be entered into leagues and tournaments that are calibrated to match the skill levels These teams are usually entered into the Hockomock League, with a schedule that is usually about 12 games plus the top 8 teams make the playoffs. Both teams will also be entered into a weekend tournament.

10 YO League
Tryouts will determine "American" and "National" teams for the summer. These teams will be competitively different A and B teams, and will be entered into leagues and tournaments that are calibrated to match the skill levels Usually enter both teams into the Hockomock League. Schedule is usually about 12 games plus the top 8 teams make the playoffs. Will also be entered into a weekend tournament.

The 10 YO American team will also start to compete in Little League District Tournaments. This will be in addition to the Hockamock League and the weekend Tournament.

11 YO League
This will be the same as 10 YO league

12 YO League
For 12s the American team will play district tournament, and most likely, 2 or 3 weekend tournaments. 
National will play in the Hockomock League as well as a Weekend Tournament.

13 YO League
There will be a 13 YO American team that will compete in Districts, and a National team that will play in the Hockamock league with games on the full sized (60/90) diamond.

14-16 YO League
Summer All Stars will be determined by the number of players interested in playing.
