Hello BLL Families, Just a reminder on May 15th we are hosting tryouts at the fields to allow for all players for the summer teams. Teams are selected by the manager of the particular team through the tryout process and spring season manager feedback forms and then presented to the BLL BOD for final approval. Rosters are of up to 12 players per team unless noted below. The summer season for most divisions runs from early June to no later than the first week of August with games being played on the weeknights. For most divisions 1 tournament will also be a part of summer all stars and that will be on a weekend. There are an average of two games a week and we ask you to consider this with your personal summer vacation schedules. If you will be missing multiple games or weeks feel free to reach out for more specific dates on your child's league to see if you're able to make that commitment. Lastly, most divisions there are two teams (A and B) and will be explained further below.
8 Year Old’s – 2 Teams (A and B) made up of 12 players per team.
9 Year Old’s – 2 Teams (A and B) made up of 12 players per team.
10 Year Old’s – 2 Teams (A and B) made up of 12 players per team. District Team in addition
11 Year Old’s – 2 Teams (A and B) made up of 12 players per team. District Team in addition
12 Year Old’s – Up to two teams of 12 players depending on size of tryouts and division to be defined depending if there is 1 or 2 teams. District Team in addition
Please make sure to register by 5/13/23 in order to confirm your intent to try out and so we can have all the names ready for the 5/15/23 tryouts. We ask all players to make the date and if you are unable to tryout, please contact me as soon as possible so I can discuss with the manager(s) of the specific division and the VP overseeing that age group.
